    Do you have any recommendations for which company or the best way to explore Jokulsarlon by boat once we arrive? There are 4 of us, traveling early September.

      I’m pretty sure there’s only one company that does tours on the lagoon. There’s another company that does tours in Fjallsárlón which is just next to Jökulsárlón but only one at the actual Jökursárlón. I think.

    Thanks. Is there a specific “walk” or day hike you would recommend for the day in Jokulsarlon? We’d like to explore the area but nothing extreme, and only half day.

      Not by the Lagoon but there’s a lot of hiking options in Skaftafell which is not that far away.
