Here’s a thought if you have nothing to do tonight: Why not head down to Den Danske Kro, Ingólfsstræti 3, and participate in an English pub quiz?
The pub quiz seems to be organized by a bunch of expats that have been living in Reykjavík for a while. The rules are simple, you pay 500 ISK to join, the teams consist of 6 people and mobile Google-ing or calling a friend is strictly forbidden. It’s about how much you know, not how good you are with Google!
The quiz will start promptly at 8 p.m so please get there early to get a table and register your team. The Quiz Masters will be there by 7:30 p.m. If you are not on a team you can try to join a team on the spot and if everything else fails the Quiz Masters will help you find one.
The English Pub Quiz is a monthly event that takes place the third Tuesday every month. The prizes are in the form of cash and beer and of course Den Danske Kro will offer discounted beers. Sounds like good fun to me!
